Private Beach Lagoon at Atlantis, Bahamas

Carnival Cruises really are the MOST fun! Ready to set sail? I will book your next Caribbean adventure for you! Read my fun story below about my own adventure:

My Journey to Atlantis:

Atlantis was the combination of sea caves and slides, private beaches and lagoons, and a colorful aquarium featuring a ship wreck scene.

After a few slides, my friend and I decided to join the lazy river except there was nothing lazy about it! Waves and rapids creating an unpredictable journey along the watery route.

"Let's go find Atlantis," my friend pointed to the shore, although it took a few tries to disembark the river ride. Finally, we wandered towards the front of the park, torn between taking selfies and finding the shipwreck.

"Do you know how to find the aquariums?" My friend asked a representative. She was normally very shy but on this trip she was unabashedly friendly to everyone!

"Let me show you," he said, and lead us to the aquariums a few buildings over in the shade of the iconic Atlantis resort.

We entered the darkness of the caves, and the vibrant fishes swam between the central shipwreck.

As my friend snapped selfies with the fish, I stood back and talked to the representative who was a diving instructor at Atlantis. He told me all about his connection to the ocean. He had seen it all and even swam with the sharks!

"Let me show you the tallest slide," he said next, and we walked back to the park.

An energetic local was in line ahead of us, joking that his friend didn't have to nerve to go on the ride, and he gestured to us, "Even these short girls are going!"

"Will you hold our shoes?" My friend asked him politely.

He took our flip flops and down we went with a scream, toes pointed downstream.
